TNT Garage Sale
Brad and I had a charity garage sale last weekend and raised over $700.00. Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who donated items. We will be gearing up for another in about 2 weeks.
Our fundraising is going very well – we still need about 800 dollars to reach our goal.
All is well!!
Ben had an abdominal ultrasound, chest x-ray and blood work this morning. I am happy to report that all tests came back normal!!! YIPEE!!
His next scans will be in July and then he won’t have to go back until January!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Check-Up Time
Ben will be having his 3 month check-up on Monday, April 23. He will have a chest x-ray, abdominal ultrasound and bloodwork.
Start saying prayers for clear scans.
HAPPY EASTER!!
Just a quick note to say Happy Easter! Hope you have a great day!
Chilly run tomorrow!
OK – our team cannot catch a break when it comes to the weather on Saturday mornings. We are expecting very cold temperatures, rain, and maybe even snow for our run. Thank goodness I only have to run 7 miles (only 7?). If my fingers are not frozen, I will let you know how the run went. 🙂
Jack Creek Road at Marty’s
Brad’s band – Jack Creek Road – will be playing at Marty’s tonight. They will start at 8:30 and play until midnight.
Brad has a song uploaded on the bands website – http//myspace.com/jackcreekroadband. Go check out the song and we’ll see you tonight.
14 Miles – Whoo Hoo!!!
Can you believe it – I ran 14 miles!!! My longest run ever! It took a while but I did finish. The first 7 were very cold then it warmed up after that. I ONLY have to run 7 this Saturday 🙂
14 down – 12.2 to go.
Wedding Photos Online
Here is the link to our wedding album online – http://weddingstogo.phanfare.com/album/158591 . We were married on November 25, 2006 in Key West, FL – sunrise ceremony. It was very romantic, just the two of us. Honeymoon photos posted soon.
Longest Training Run Ever!!
I ran 12 miles Saturday!!! My longest training run. I am very excited to make it to this point. However, I HURT afterwards 🙂 Almost Half-way to marathon distance.
One of the girls on the team took pictures to mark this momentous occasion – I will post them soon.
Take Care,
Mags
Milestone for Ben
Great news – Ben score a 100 on his TAKS test (Texas Assesment of Knowledge and Skills). The doctors were worried that cancer treatment may have caused learning dissabilites, guess we can put that worry to rest! He is also a whiz at playing the recorder 🙂
